Michael DesLauriers - Director of Soccer (DOS) or Michael D. as he is called, directly oversees and supervises all aspects of the FFC Program and the Club's Soccer Operations. He personally organizes and creates the soccer curriculum for the "Advanced Training Programs" for the club. He holds a USSF "B" License, NSCAA Advanced National Diploma, ACEP Coaching Certificate, and the USSF National Youth License (Inaugural Course).
Michael D. is currently an assistant coach with the Elmhurst College Men's Team where he helped coach them to the NCAA playoffs last season; he is also on staff with the Illinois Olympic Development Program (ODP) where he has compiled a tremendous record since 1993. Notable wins include multiple Region II ODP Championships and an ODP National Championship. He has also coached Club teams to dozens of tournament championships at the National, Regional, and State level, including multiple IYSA State Cup Championships. Michael was voted as the "Illinois Boy's Coach of the Year" in 1997. He is also on staff for the IYSA Coaching Education Program
Prior to starting the Fury FC with Jim Totsch in 2009 Michael had been Director of Coaching and Player Development for HUSA from 1993 to 2002. He served as the DOC for Naperville Lightning, and most recently as an age group Director at Campton United.
