Michael DesLauriers, or Michael D. as he is called, is the former Director of Coaching and Player Development for HUSA (Hinsdale United Soccer Association) from 1993 to 2002. He has also served as the DOC for Naperville Lightning, and recently as an age group Director at Campton United. He has successfully completed his USSF B License, NSCAA Advanced National Diploma, ACEP Coaching Certificate, and the USSF National Youth License (Inaugural Course). Michael D. is also currently one of the assistant coaches at Elmhurst College on the Men’s Team.

Michael D is currently on staff with the Illinois Olympic Development Program where he has compiled a tremendous record in coaching Illinois State Teams since 1995, including an ODP National Championship and Region II Championship and numerous finals appearances. He has also coached teams to dozens of tournament championships at the National, Regional, and State level, including an IYSA State Cup Championship. Michael was voted as the Illinois Boy’s Coach of the Year in 1997. He is also on staff for the IYSA Coaching Education Program.

Since 1990 to the present, Michael D has organized travel and tours abroad and has personally traveled and coached club and select level teams that have traveled and competed in the Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Norway, England, Finland, Wales, France, Belgium, and Canada. He also has dozens of stateside tournament championships to his credit competing in some of the most competitive tournaments in North America. Players coached by Michael D. have played and/or are currently playing at the collegiate, National, and International Level.

Michael D directly overseas and supervises all aspects of the FFC Program and the Club’s Soccer Operations. He personally organizes and creates all soccer curriculums for the - Advanced Training Programs - for the club.
